Direct Composite Resin Esthetic Dentistry

In today’s economy, many patients are seeking and choosing a more affordable solution for esthetic and functional treatment. Composite resin and new techniques can be used to provide esthetic results with excellent clinical performance.

At The Nash Institute, you’ll learn about modern materials and techniques for placing all types of direct composite restoration in this two-day HANDS-ON composite course. Hands-on exercises will be completed by each participant for preparation, placement and finishing for Class I, II, III, IV and V anterior and posterior restorations. We will emphasize the use of direct composite resin veneers for elective smile enhancements in combination with restorative dentistry using innovative techniques.

Communication Skills for The Dental Team

We spend 85 percent of our time communicating with patients, and only 15 percent on clinical application. Patients not only pay attention to what we say, they also notice our body language including facial expressions, gestures and postures. The way we communicate with patients from the first phone call, the moment they enter the practice and throughout their introduction to treatment by all team members is critical. It may dictate whether the patient makes an appointment, moves forward with treatment, and accepts our office protocols.

From phone call to recall, Debra Engelhardt-Nash will teach you how to validate the patients’ decision to choose your practice by improving team communication skills.
